Three ways in, depending on how much you want to say.
Most people book the free call without emailing first. But if you'd rather ask something before you put your name in a calendar, that's what Tatiana is for.

Send a message without opening your email.
This goes to the same inbox Tatiana reads, and she replies within one business day with two suggested therapists and why. You do not need to explain your situation to get an answer. Name the general area and leave the rest for the call.
That did not send. You can email hello@torontotherapypractice.com directly, or call (416) 892-8870.
Practical
Where we are, and what that means.
Most sessions are virtual, so you can see any of our therapists from anywhere in Ontario, and some of our therapists also offer sessions in person in Toronto. Ask on the consultation call which applies to the therapist you are considering.

Before you write
Two things worth knowing.
We are not a crisis service
We cannot monitor email for urgent messages. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 for the Suicide Crisis Helpline, or go to your nearest emergency department. If things feel like they are heading that way but you are safe now, say so in your message and we will prioritize you.
Email isn't confidential in the way sessions are
Regular email is not a secure channel. You do not need to explain your situation in detail to get an answer from us. A sentence about the general area is enough, and the rest can wait for the call.
Getting in touch
What people ask before they write.
What is the fastest way to get an appointment?
Book the free 15 minute consultation directly rather than emailing first. It takes a name, an email and a time, and most people are seen within two or three days. Emailing adds a day.
Do I have to say what it's about in my first email?
No. A sentence naming the general area is enough, and regular email is not a secure channel, so there is no reason to write more. The rest can wait for the call.
How quickly will someone reply?
One business day. Tatiana Bozovic, our client care coordinator, reads every message herself and usually replies with two suggested therapists and why.
Can I speak to a therapist before booking?
That is exactly what the consultation call is. It is with an actual therapist rather than an intake screener, and there is no obligation to book anything afterwards.
Do you have a physical office I can visit?
Yes. We have an office at 400 Walmer Road in midtown Toronto, with limited in-person availability. Most sessions are virtual, which is how we can offer you any of our seven therapists, not just the ones nearest to you. Ask on your free call if in-person works with the therapist you're considering.
