Three have openings this week. See who fits

Where are you right now?

Pick the closest one. We'll show you who on the team works with it.

IVF and IUI cycles, unexplained infertility, donor conception and surrogacy, the two week wait, and deciding when to stop.

Five of our therapists work in fertility.

Why families come to us

Specialist perinatal care, not general therapy with an interest in it.

Trained where this work is hardest

Our founder spent a decade in perinatal mental health at Mount Sinai, across the Mother Baby Unit, NICU, and the Special Pregnancy Program. Several of the team trained in hospital programs too.

You won't spend session one teaching us

We know what a failed transfer means. What a trigger shot does to your mood by day three. Why week 12 is the one you're dreading if you've had a loss. You can just talk. We already understand.

Referred by other clinicians

Midwives, OBs, fertility clinics and hospital social workers across the GTA send their patients here.

What we help with

Written the way people say it, not the way it goes on a chart.

"My body feels like it's betraying me."

Fertility treatment, unexplained infertility, and the toll of a process that asks you to hope on a schedule.

Fertility counselling

"The clinic says we need counselling first."

Implications counselling for donor eggs, donor sperm, donated embryos or surrogacy. One session, documentation sent to your clinic.

Implications counselling

"I can't let myself be happy about this."

Pregnancy after loss or infertility, where every scan is a held breath and joy feels dangerous.

Pregnancy support

"I have thoughts I'm scared to say out loud."

Intrusive thoughts, postpartum anxiety and perinatal OCD. Common, treatable, and not a sign of who you are.

Postpartum therapy

"Everyone moved on and I didn't."

Miscarriage, stillbirth and TFMR, including the losses other people never knew about.

Pregnancy loss

"We're more like roommates now."

Couples work for the strain that fertility, loss and a new baby put on a relationship.

Couples therapy

"I'm the one holding it all together." Partners carrying their own grief quietly, and anyone drowning in the invisible work of it, belong here too.

Support for partners

How it works

Three steps. The first one is free and takes fifteen minutes.

Book a 15 minute call

Pick a time, including evenings and early mornings. No intake form to get through first, no practice waitlist, no cost.

On the call: you say as much or as little as you want, we ask a few questions, and we tell you honestly whether we're the right fit. Nobody is going to push you to book.

Get matched to a specialist

We suggest the therapist whose training fits what you're carrying, and give you a second option in case the first doesn't feel right.

If it isn't a fit: you can switch to another therapist on our team at any time. Just let us know. No awkwardness, no explanation needed.

Start from home

Virtual sessions anywhere in Ontario. Most people have their first session within a week.

Practically: no commute, no waiting room, no childcare to arrange. Feed the baby during the session if you need to.

Fees and insurance

The part most practices make you send an email to find out.

Cost is the most common reason people put the call off. So here it is before you ask, along with what your insurance is likely to do with it.

Session fees

Consultation call, 15 min
Free
Individual session, 50 min
$175 to $200
Couples session, 50 min
$210 to $225
Extended couples, 75 min
1.5× the rate

Fees vary by therapist. Your exact fee is confirmed on the free call, before you commit to anything. We also hold a limited number of reduced fee spots for people facing financial hardship. Just ask. You won't need to explain or provide any documentation.

Insurance and coverage

Sessions with a Registered Social Worker or Registered Psychotherapist are covered by most Ontario workplace plans.

Before you book

The five things people email to ask.

What happens on the free call?

Fifteen minutes, video or phone. You say as much or as little as you want, we ask a few questions, and we tell you honestly whether we're the right fit and which therapist suits. No intake form first, no card details, no pressure to book.

What does it cost, and will insurance cover it?

$175 to $200 for a 50 minute individual session depending on the therapist, $210 to $225 for 50 minute couples. Sessions with a Registered Social Worker or Registered Psychotherapist are covered by most Ontario workplace plans. We direct bill through Sun Life and TELUS eClaims, and provide receipts for all other insurers. Ask us when you book. A few reduced fee spots exist and you only have to ask.

How soon can I start?

Most people have a consultation within two or three days and a first session inside a week. Availability is shown on each therapist's card.

What if I don't click with the therapist I pick?

Tell us after the first session and you can switch to another therapist on our team at any time. Just let us know, and you don't have to explain why. Fit is the strongest single predictor of whether therapy works, so getting it wrong once is ordinary.

Why are there no reviews on this site?

Ontario's colleges prohibit registered therapists from using client testimonials, or asking for them. Their absence here means we're following our own rules. What you can verify instead.

Why you can trust this

We can't show you reviews. Here's what you can verify instead.

Ontario's colleges prohibit therapists from using client testimonials, and from asking for them. We think that's the right rule, so instead of quotes you can't check, everything below is a matter of public record.

Hospital trained

Ten years in perinatal mental health at Mount Sinai, across the Mother Baby Unit, the NICU and the Special Pregnancy Program. Several of the team trained in hospital programs too.

Every clinician here holds a current registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers or the College of Registered Psychotherapists. Look any of us up on the public register.

Referral relationships
